… and in celebration, I just signed up for web hosting with a new service provider, and they’re blazing fast!
Speaking of new beginnings, there is a Chinese superstition claiming that your zodiac year will be plagued by ill fortune. Last year, my Grandmother even sent us (twin sister and I) red strings to tie around our waists to ward off the occasional tragedy. Not that any of this hocus pocus stuff makes sense or anything but I’m glad we’re out of the Year of the Rooster. Onward! And a new year it is.

While I was sick in Taiwan, one of my aunts went to a temple and prayed for me and now I have one of those ‘hocus pocus’ red charms in my wallet. I actually believe the year of the dog will be the death of me! -_-
